When we began working on this album one year ago, our goal was to create something that appealed to a large variety of musical audiences. We have attempted to do this by incorporating what we have learned from our broad spectrum of musical influences with our acoustic instrumentation and our own original ideas. This project would not have been possible without the help and patience of our wonderful recording engineer and friend Scott Vestal, the amazing musicianship of our friend Jeremy Garrett, the constant support from our loving families and friends, and our faith in Christ. Based in Rowan County, NC, The Trailblazers add energy and passion to a progressive sound in bluegrass. After forming in 2016, this young band has made a mark in their genre for original music and respect of tradition. The Trailblazers make original music and put their own twist on endless classics. They are the 2018 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, and have won many prestigious contests, including Merlefest (2017), and the SPBGMA International Band Contest (2018).
